Hate me for loving my comic books more than her? Write and tell me how much! Steven@sttv.us

Or I should say what's left of my collection. You see, growing up, I had collected The Avengers #1-200 and the Fantastic Four #1-200 and many more. I kept them in a wooden footlocker and they followed me from the East Coast of the United States to the West Coast of of the United States to Europe and then....it happened.

Here is a sample of the comics in my collection

One day when I was leaving for work my Dutch girlfriend asked me what I was going to do with my comics. In the space of .00000001 second I thought "Are you fucking kidding me?? What the fuck do you think I'm going to do with them?? They are my most prized possession" but what I said was, dripping with extreme sarcasm, "I'm going to throw them away.... (silently...see above...) and then I got home from work that night and my footlocker was gone.

She put it out in the trash. At first I was like..ok, where is the landfill..it's going to stand out but to my horror the Dutch burn ALL their trash so my precious collection was gone forever. So was my heart.
